Electro-Acupuncture is the use of small electrical currents through the acupuncture needles and is often used in conjunction with acupuncture, in order to enhance the treatment. Electro-acupuncture has been proven to decrease pain, accelerate tissue healing and significantly reduce inflammation, edema and swelling.
Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture
Points in the ear may correspond to areas of the body and to certain disharmonies and dysfunctions and therefore can be good acupuncture stimulation points. Auricular acupuncture is commonly used for pain control, as well as drug, alcohol and nicotine addictions.
